West Coast rapper Nipsey Hussle is reportedly being linked to a Los Angeles shooting involving his ex-manager Eugene “Big U” Henley that took place leading into the weekend.

Details descriptions of what took place emerged online Monday (March 21).

Nipsey Hussle was involved in an altercation which led to shots being fired by the LAPD. Nispey and former associate Big U were involved in a heated argument near an alleyway. When Nipsey’s brother Samiel Asghedom pulled out a gun to end the argument, his gun allegedly fired a single shot in the air. LAPD arrived and fired a shot at Asghedom but did not strike him. Further reports claimed Nipsey’s brother was taken in by police following the incident.

Nipsey Hussle’s brother, Samiel Asghedom, was arrested last Friday (March 19), following reports of an altercation in Los Angeles that allegedly involved the 2011 Freshmen and his former manager Eugene “Big U” Henley. XXLMag.com reached a rep for the LAPD, who would not confirm the rumors, but did confirm the arrest. Asghedom was picked up early Friday morning at 1:30 a.m. He is currently being held on $100,000 bail. (XXL Mag)

While Nipsey has yet to provide a confirmation or denial, he has assured fans of his safe well-being.

The rapper is currently making a name for himself following a recent Epic Records departure.

Nipsey Hussle most recently left his label Epic Records following the two-year delay of his debut studio album ‘South Central State of Mind.’ He ended up signing with an indie imprint dubbed All Money In Records, explaining that he’s always maintained an independent spirit.
