Young Money’s Nicki Minaj is doing way more than just leveling up after her Cardi B interaction turned nasty last week. New reports claim the hip-hop veteran is winning across the board since the feud erupted at a New York Fashion Week show.
According to reports, everything from Nicki’s Queen Radio show listeners to her music streams have increased in numbers over the last 96 hours.
Nicki’s podcast, “Queen Radio,” was trending at the top of Twitter Monday and the show has been sitting pretty at #1 on Apple Music … all the result of the publicity Nicki’s getting off the fight. Not just that, but we’re told Nicki believes her strong debut numbers for her new music video for “Barbie Dreams” is partially due to Cardi’s antics. There’s also this … apparently, Nicki’s been getting blown up a lot more for appearance requests and concert bookings in the last few days. (TMZ)
Yesterday, B’s camp reportedly denied claims from Minaj about making deals to get radio play.
Sources directly involved in the management and music promotion for Cardi B’s debut album tell The Blast it is “absolutely false” that anyone got paid or gifts in exchange for airtime. They’re responding to Nicki Minaj going on her Queen Radio and eviscerating her hip-hop foe. (The Blast)
On Monday’s Queen Radio broadcast, Nicki Minaj exploded on Cardi and accused her of sending racist messages to a black woman on social media.
“Calling a dead child a monkey but telling people somebody talked about your child that nobody talked about your motherf*cking child so you can get some f*cking sympathy points?! Now we’re gonna get it in. Now we going to get into some things because I’m tired of people f*cking lying on me. So we gonna get into some things. You want to talk about stopping bags but there’s two innocent girls in the strip club right now that did nothing but go to the strip club and get money. Now they can’t get no money. Now who’s stopping bags? Because you got grown a** f*cking men showing up to where they at and where they work at. They can’t feed they kids. They can’t feed they f*cking family. They can’t feed they f*cking family because you mad at what another man sticking his d*ck inside of. You mad at a woman for what a man is doing!” (Queen Radio)
Nicki also went on to accuse Cardi of having strippers attacked by men.
“She refers to you black women, we got the receipts for that too, she refers to you black woman as monkeys and roaches. Roaches! These are the women going hard for her. The roaches. When the lights go out. They scramble. We roaches child. Black women is roaches now child. We roaches. Be clear. So there are two beautiful women right now who have been accused of sleeping with whoever they slept with. They were allegedly attacked and cut up everywhere. But not by women. By men!
