Young Money star Nicki Minaj is reportedly the person responsible for putting up big bucks to help get her brother out of jail amid a rape charge.
According to reports, Minaj posted the bail for Jelani Maraj.
Court papers reveal the superstar singer put up the $100,000 bond that sprang Jelani Maraj, 37, from custody in Nassau County on Friday after he was accused of first-degree rape and first-degree sexual conduct against the preteen. The bond is backed by a two homes in Baldwin that are owned by Minaj — one of which is used by her brother and the other by her mother, Carol. (Page Six)

Maraj allegedly raped a 12-year-old … this according to Newsday. Nicki is close to her older brother, and even paid $30k to help foot the bill for his wedding back in August. It appears authorities claim the rape happened on Long Island, NY. That’s where Maraj was arrested and later released on $100,000 bail. (TMZ)
Maraj is expected to appear in court next week.

How the fuck do you get wrongly accused of raping a 12 year old? I could understand if she was 15,16,17 and said she was 18. 12 though? Sick fuck if it’s true. They must have had some evidence to bring him in on charges. Also crazy that you get 100,000 bail on raping a 12 year old but Bobby Schmurda still locked up after coming up with a 2 million dollar package. I understand murder is part of his charges, I just think Pedophilia should come with the same harsh guidelines for bail as murder. Murdering someone that’s in the game isn’t as bad as raping an innocent child imo, obviously the law sees it differently.
