Young Money‘s Nicki Minaj has paid her respects to musician Robin Thicke. The Barbie sent condolences to him and his family following the tragic loss of his father Alan Thicke.

Nicki went to Instagram Wednesday (December 14) to speak on Alan’s legacy.

Hours prior, Nicki’s YMCMB labelmate Drake also remembered Thicke’s life.

A few hours ago, Alan’s pop star son Robin Thicke addressed his passing.

Yesterday (December 13) reports claimed Robin’s dad suffered a fatal heart attack.

Thicke reportedly suffered a heart attack while playing hockey with one of his sons. He was taken to a Los Angeles area hospital where he was pronounced dead. He is survived by his wife Tanya and sons Brennan, Carter and the pop star Robin Thicke. (Rolling Stone)

The veteran actor is most known for starring in the family show “Growing Pains.”

Growing Pains aired on ABC for seven seasons, from September 1985 to April 1992. Thicke played Jason Seaver, a psychiatrist who works from home. Joanna Kerns portrayed his wife and Kirk Cameron, Tracey Gold, Jeremy Miller and Ashley Johnson were their kids. In the last season, Leonardo DiCaprio appeared as a homeless teen who moves in with the family. The series reached as high as No. 5 in the ratings. (The Hollywood Reporter)
