Young Money‘s Nicki Minaj looks like she might have some tunes on deck. This past weekend, the hip-hop superstar linked up with longtime mentor Lil Wayne.

During a live Wayne interview on Sunday (January 8), Nicki popped up and teased fans about having something brewing with the Young Money boss.

“Of course, I have a bunch of projects coming out, I have new groups coming out, we got a new sports thing going on right now,” Wayne said in an interview. “We’re helping some artists out, we’re helping some athletes coming out. … You already know I’ve got my key players. I’ve got my Nicki, I’ve got my Drizzy.”

Recently, Young Money president Mack Maine promised new 2017 album releases from Nicki and Drake.

“Drake dropping top of the year. Nicki got some features that — I’ve been in the studio with her lately — that she’s just killing. She also gonna be working on her solo project and she’s dropping. … We got some sh*t in the chamber for y’all man. We gonna be all over your radio, all over your TV screen. If you got any problems with us, you not gonna be able to avoid us.” (REVOLT TV)

A few days ago, Minaj flexed her chart-topping “Side To Side” collaborative single’s success.

Last month, Minaj joked with fans about the status of a new album.
