The hip-hop community mourned the death of Chicago rapper King Von on Friday. Among those grieving is Asian Doll, the Texas rapper who dated King Von from 2018 until their breakup a few months ago.

Asian Doll’s heartbreak was evident in her Twitter posts reacting to the news about King Von, who was shot and killed in Atlanta on Friday. He was just 26 years old and leaves behind two children. Rap icon Nicki Minaj publicly reached out for support.

After initially being hospitalized in critical condition Friday morning, Von lost his battle hours later. Music producer ChopsquadDJ confirmed the crushing news along with additional media outlets.
