New York rapper Nicki Minaj might have a serious career at Beats 1. The hip-hop star has updated fans on just how popular her Queen Radio show is just weeks after launching.
This week, Onika went to Instagram to flex the show’s popularity in comparison to top-rated TV shows.
According to reports, Queen Radio’s listeners massively grew after this week’s broadcast.
Nicki’s podcast, “Queen Radio,” was trending at the top of Twitter Monday and the show has been sitting pretty at #1 on Apple Music … all the result of the publicity Nicki’s getting off the fight. Not just that, but we’re told Nicki believes her strong debut numbers for her new music video for “Barbie Dreams” is partially due to Cardi’s antics. There’s also this … apparently, Nicki’s been getting blown up a lot more for appearance requests and concert bookings in the last few days. (TMZ)
A few days ago, rap rival Cardi B‘s camp reportedly denied claims from Minaj about making deals to get radio play.
Sources directly involved in the management and music promotion for Cardi B’s debut album tell The Blast it is “absolutely false” that anyone got paid or gifts in exchange for airtime. They’re responding to Nicki Minaj going on her Queen Radio and eviscerating her hip-hop foe. (The Blast)
On Monday’s Queen Radio broadcast, Nicki Minaj exploded on Cardi and accused her of sending racist messages to a black woman on social media.
“Calling a dead child a monkey but telling people somebody talked about your child that nobody talked about your motherf*cking child so you can get some f*cking sympathy points?! Now we’re gonna get it in. Now we going to get into some things because I’m tired of people f*cking lying on me. So we gonna get into some things. You want to talk about stopping bags but there’s two innocent girls in the strip club right now that did nothing but go to the strip club and get money. Now they can’t get no money.
