Young Money’s Nicki Minaj has responded to controversy surrounding footage of her appearing to mock a disabled woman this weekend.

Minaj cleared the air on the viral misunderstanding Sunday (November 1).

The footage went viral on Halloween and shows Nicki playfully demanding a wheelchair-bound person to walk.

Reports claim the woman may have been Nicki’s makeup artist.

Some of the pop princess’s fans said the woman in the video was actually Sheika Daley, Minaj’s makeup artist. “Dumba — it’s her friend in the chair, she ain’t disabled she too drunk to walk,” one person wrote. Daley was mentioned in the original video post, with Minaj writing, “Sheika was not wit the sh–s last night.” (New York Post)
