Young Money star Nicki Minaj stole the show last night (July 22) in Miami by bringing out singer Sean Kingston for his first performance since a near-fatal jet ski crash in May.
Along with Kingston, Minaj also brought out Miami’s Trina.
Nicki Minaj’s Miami Barbz got a double surprise when Sean Kingston and Trina joined the Pink Friday rapper onstage during her performance on Britney Spears’ “Femme Fatale” tour at the AmericanAirlines Arena. A visibly slimmer Sean hit the stage for the first time since his jet ski accident to perform his island-flavored single “Letting Go (Dutty Love)” with the blonde Barbie. But that wasn’t all. Miami’s Diamond Princess Trina connected with her fellow bad b*tch to spit her verse on “My Chick Bad.” (Rap-Up)
Kingston also hit up Twitter following the show and announced his official return.
“Feels good to be baccck on stage!!!… i got a big surprise coming up for my fans real soon!!.. DUTTY!.. me and @nickiminaj was swaggin lol”
“Im alive.. stonger and better then EVER!… now im bout to drop these hits on yall hahahaha IM BACKK!!!!! “WHO GOD BLESS NO MAN CURSE” ;0″ (Sean Kingston’s Twitter)
Earlier in the month, a photo of rapper Soulja Boy and Kingston celebrating the 4th of July landed online.
Sean Kingston showed off the remnants of his injuries from his near-fatal jet skiing accident. In the photo obtained by TMZ, Sean — left arm and hand bandaged — is seen with Soulja Boy at a 4th of July/welcome home party he threw for himself at his Miami mansion. Sean’s friends tell us — about 100 people showed up at the party, and ALL guests were warned: “NO JET SKIING!” Even though personal water crafts were banned, it was still fun — jerk chicken, booze, and a stripper who, sadly, didn’t strip. (TMZ)
The singer’s near-death jet ski crash took place in late May.
Rapper Sean Kingston is in a Miami area hospital Sunday night after crashing into a bridge while riding a watercraft, officials said. The crash happened around 6 p.m. EST when Kingston drove his jet ski into a bridge connecting Palm Island to the MacArthur Causeway. Kingston and a female passenger were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Reports say he may be in critical condition. (Chicago Tribune)
