She’s seen as the top character within Capcom’s plethora of releases, and even GameDaily put her first on their list of the best “Street Fighter” characters in 2009. Chun-Li is also often referred to by many as the “first lady of video games”, and has won countless awards. In the same year, Game Informer’s list of the top 10 most popular fighting characters in video game history saw Chun-Li placed at 7th, and Complex went as far to say she is “arguably the most popular female video character ever created”.
