Hollywood actor/rapper Nick Cannon recently talked about putting together a $100,000 rap battle and reaching out to high-profile potential contenders.
Talking to radio personality Tim Westwood, Nick explained his hefty challenge.
“We gonna be out in the [United] States for the BET Awards. I’m holding a $100,000 battle—whoever wants it—but it has to be someone who can put up 100 grand … I done reached out to Tyga, he didn’t want it. I went to all Slaughterhouse. I did it like Mortal Kombat. I said I’ll take all of them out to get to the boss.” (Tim Westwood TV)
Back in February, Cannon and reality TV star Stevie J clashed on social media.
Nick also addressed the headline-generating drama.
In early February, details of the dispute went viral.
Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez were guests on “Wild ‘N Out” Monday when the 2 ex-lovebirds squared off during the rap battle against Nick and his crew. It started out all fun and games, but got progressively nasty. At one point Stevie J said he banged Mariah Carey not once but twice. Nick got pissed off, and then told Stevie J he should worry about Joseline because she was sleeping with Rick Ross. (TMZ)
