Nick Cannon Names “Harshest” Part Of Mariah Carey Marriage

Hollywood actor Nick Cannon recently talked about having a publicized marriage to estranged wife Mariah Carey and named the harshest part of the experience.

In Nick’s opinion, having his personal life dragged into the media hit him the hardest.

“It’s interesting because dealing with your personal life in the public eye and really, a lot of the time, public opinion is the harshest thing about it. So you kind of have to block out all that stuff … because people are going to have opinions … what people say about me is really none of my business.” (HuffPost Live)

Cannon jumped onto his Twitter page to let loose on the coverage he had received over the split last month.

“I have personally been absent from social media for the past few months for obvious reasons but I feel the need to finally speak up. During this challenging time for me and my family it saddens me that the media can be such evil bottom feeders because my family & I haven’t been forthcoming with personal information, people are quick to paint negative pictures and spread rumours. For the record I NEVER have, nor will I make a statement regarding my marriage. So whatever your favorite gossip outlet is reporting has been created within their own imagination. At this difficult time I would ask all civilized people to please respect my family and this process. (Nick Cannon’s Twitter)

In a recent interview, Cannon’s comments suggested he was single and ready to mingle.

So what does Cannon want in a woman, now that it looks like he might be single again? “I like a strong woman. I like somebody that knows what they want. Getting right to it, that makes a lot of sense for me, so I welcome that…or welcomed that,” he said, correcting himself when he realized that, whoops he’s still technically married. (Hello Beautiful)
