R&B singer Ciara‘s rumored romance with NFL star Russell Wilson just took a quick turn as reports claim the Seattle Seahawks quarterback will now take his grandmother, not CiCi, to a public outing this weekend.
According to Wilson, he will be taking grandma to this weekend’s White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, DC.

Reports this week suggested Wilson and Ciara would hook up for the annual White House dinner.
Though neither Ciara’s nor Russell’s reps have confirmed the relationship, an innocent press release on the White House Correspondents’ Dinner guest list from AOL suggests things are more than platonic. Russell Wilson is listed as attending this weekend’s event “with his date Ciara.” (Billboard)
Various gossip blogs claimed CiCi and Wilson were spotted together at a baseball game last weekend.
Although she refrained from going into what tore them apart, CiCi spoke highly on her son with Future last week.
“It clearly didn’t work out,” CiCi admitted in an interview. “But I have the greatest gift, the greatest joy of my life which is my son. Honestly, I feel like everything in life happens for a reason and my son has been the greatest gift that God has given me in my life and the most game-changing thing that’s happened in my life in a necessary way.
