R. Kelly – I Admit It

Contrary to the first thought, the album is not an admission of guilt, as catchy as the title is. R. Kelly is currently behind bars, but Sony Music owns his catalog. Meanwhile, Sony has had the album removed from Spotify and Apple Music

According to the label, the release was premature, terming it a “bootleg” copy.

Moneybagg Yo – Quickie

Over the famous Lamont Dozier sample that provided the foundation for Outkast’s “Jazzy Belle,” MoneyBagg Yo details a string of short encounters and the little mind games that keep relationships hypnotizing.

Hit play and enjoy.

YG Featuring Lil Wayne – Miss My Dawgs

YG’s new dro, which features the husky voice of Lil Wayne, is a bop and a half. Following his September release of I Got Issues, “Miss My Dawgs,” is a heartfelt tribute to friends lost along the way to stardom.

Kanye West – Someday We’ll All Be Free

In the midst of losing deals, his billionaire status, getting divorced, and having his honorary degree revoked, Kanye has dropped a new song, “Someday, We’ll All Be Free.” It may be cryptic or a reference to the lost battle with brands, like Kyrie Irving’s canceled Nike contract for an action deemed antisemitic.

Hit play and ride the wave.

Skaiwater – Rave

It has been an eventful year for Skaiwater. Right after a successful world tour with Lil Nas X, he has re-released his well-received mixtape, Rave.

With new sounds and a more experienced Skai, the re-release includes crowd favorite “Two.” The 11-song mixtape also features the vocals of Lil Uzi Vert and Prentiss

Give it a listen.

Lucky Daye – CandyDrip (Deluxe)

The deluxe edition of Candydrip features previous standouts from the album including “Fuckin’ Sound,” “NWA,” and “Over” as well as brand new tracks “Magic,” “Apply Pressure,” “These Signs,” and an original version of “NWA.”
