This project’s artwork showcases Nelly once again by his lonesome on the cover.

Unlike his chest-baring cover for his last album Brass Knuckles, Nelly looks casual on the front of his sixth LP 5.0, pulling into stores November 16. Wearing a crisp white tee, a loosened belt on his denim jeans, and a pair of shades, the “Just a Dream” hitman stares off into the distance on the artwork for the album, named partially after his favorite car. “[The Mustang] 5.0 was always one of my dream cars,” he told Rap-Up.com. His new album will also reportedly feature 12 tracks along with a few bonus selections.

1. I’m Number 1 (feat. Baby and DJ Khaled) 2. Long Gone (feat. Chris Brown and Piles) 3. She’s So Fly (feat. T.I.) 4. Just a Dream 5. Making Movies 6. Move That Body (feat. T-Pain and Akon) 7. 1000 Stacks 8. Gone (feat. Kelly Rowland) 9. Don’t It Feel Good 10. Broke Ni**as 11. Live Tonight 12. Nothing Without Her BONUS TRACKS 13. Go 14. If I Gave You One (feat. Avery Storm) 15. Kissing You (feat. Dirty Money) (Hip Hop N More)

Recently, Nelly revealed that Taraji P. Henson would not make the album despite initial confirmation from him last winter.

“You work on records and try to get things to come into fruition, and sometimes as an artist, we speak too soon because we think it’s gonna happen,” Nelly said about guest feature announcements. “Like, the record with Taraji [P. Henson], it didn’t happen. I didn’t get back in with Janet [Jackson] on this record either, I know we were trying to figure out some other records. But, for the most part, the album is done. Some of the artists, like, I did get T.I. on there, I do have [Diddy] on the record with the Biggie sample, ‘Thousand Stacks.’ I also did a collaboration with me, T-Pain and Akon — the Kelly [Rowland] record that we did, it’s unbelievable. It’s also produced by Jim Jonsin. That’s my sister man, that’s love right there.” (Rap Radar)

Despite debuting at No. 3 in September 2008, Nelly’s last solo LP has yet to crack over 500,000 sold copies.

Brass Knuckles debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 selling 80,000 copies in its first week. After only a few months, it was certified Gold by the RIAA then it dropped off the Billboard 200, but in early March 21 2009 it re-appeared at 152. The album has sold over 200,000 copies in the United States. (Wikipedia)

Nelly’s 5.0 will hit retail stores Tuesday, November 16th.
