Maybach Music Group‘s Meek Mill is still dream chasing. The hip-hop star has shown no chill to his new DC4 mixtape album and is continuing to promote the must-hear release.
Despite already landing a Top 3 debut this week, Meek Milly has kept the attention on his latest solo offering.
This week, Meek’s DC4 fell a couple thousand copies short of toppling the sales chart.
The album, which was released on Oct. 28 through YJ/CTE/Def Jam Records, earned a little more than 89,000 units in the week ending Nov. 3, according to Nielsen Music. The set sold 73,000 in traditional album sales. Meek Mill’s new mixtape album DC4 debuts at No. 3 with 87,000 units (and 45,000 in traditional album sales), marking his third charting effort. Last week, Meek teased fans about possibly putting out an immediate DC4 follow-up.
Various celebrities ranging from NBA champion LeBron James to Meek’s girlfriend Nicki Minaj have publicly supported the project.
