Young Money's Drake reportedly has a treat coming for fans in the form of a new mixtape according to Toronto Raptors superstar DeMar DeRozan.
During an interview this week, DeRozan referenced an untitled Drizzy release coming this winter.
“It’s incredible having that type of artist of his magnitude be able to support us the way he do because he definitely really do support us; it’s not just for show. He come in the locker room, [we] talk to him. I talked to him the other night. Actually, he said he wants to give me his mixtape that come out in January.” (NBC TV)

If the mixtape hype is true, it will be Drake’s first underground effort in five years.
Drake hasn’t done a mixtape since 2009′s So Far Gone, which was his breakout project, and earned him two Grammy nominations. Drake’s new album, Views From The 6, has already been announced and is certainly on the way, but could Drizzy be releasing a free project before that? Or was Derozan referring to VFT6, and using the term “mixtape” a little loosely? (The Source)
Drake has kept a court side presence at Raptors games since becoming the team’s global ambassador a couple years ago.
Drake has been seen celebrating wins with the team and was a mainstay during their playoff run last year. Most notably, his antics using a lint roller on the sideline during games have left people puzzled and also amused at such a Drake-like moment. (Music Times)
