New York rap veteran Nas is out here putting some respect and salutations on Colin Kaepernick‘s name. The hip-hop star has shouted out the NFL free agent and Black Lives Matter activist.

Nasir Jones hit up Instagram Tuesday (November 21) with a shot of CK.

A few weeks ago, music mogul JAY-Z spoke up for people like Kaepernick and other NFL athlete protesting the National Anthem.

Jay-Z stopped down his 4:44 Tour concert Sunday night in Miami to explain why he’s thrown his support behind NFL player protests — and also to take a shot at his haters. On Veterans Day weekend … Jay directly addressed critics who say the movement started by Colin Kaepernick is an insult to the U.S. flag and military. His point was those critics are twisting the message, which is really “about justice and injustice” … regardless of race. (TMZ)

Earlier this fall, JAY-Z flexed his support for Kaepernick during a “Saturday Night Live” performance.

Saturday Night Live returned this weekend, and Jay Z was ready to own the moment. The rapper served as the musical guest and wasted no time in calling attention to the national anthem protests and Colin Kaepernick. Jay Z rocked a custom-made jersey that said ‘Colin K’ on the back, a clear message of support to the man who started the anthem protests that Donald Trump has trapped in his crosshairs. Trump’s comments about NFL players protesting incited mass unity among players last Sunday in locking arms or taking a knee during the national anthem. (Fansided)
