Nasty Nas went to Instagram Wednesday with a big salute to Murphy and co-star Arsenio Hall‘s flick.

This week, buzz developed about comedian Tracy Morgan joining Eddie’s upcoming Coming 2 America sequel.

Tracy Morgan has joined Eddie Murphy in Coming 2 America, Paramount’s sequel to its popular 1988 comedy. The studio has lined up an array of new and returning talent for the feature project, which is being directed by Craig Brewer. Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones and KiKi Layne are among the new castmembers, while Arsenio Hall, James Earl Jones and Shari Headley are among the returnees. (The Hollywood Reporter)

“Power” star Rotimi is also slated to star in the highly-anticipated flick.

EXCLUSIVEPower star and R&B crooner Rotimi is the latest to join the cast of Paramount Pictures’ Coming 2 America sequel. He’ll be joining some of the original cast members including star Eddie Murphy (Prince Akeem) and Arsenio Hall (Semmi), James Earl Jones (King Jaffe Joffer), Paul Bates (Oha), John Amos (Cleo McDowell), Shari Headley (Lisa McDowell), Louie Anderson (Maurice), and Vanessa Bell Calloway (Imani Izzi). A few details have surfaced on the movie’s overall plot and key returning cast members.

Murphy has been confirmed to reprise his role of Prince Akeem – now King – while Arsenio Hall will return as his right-hand man Semmi. Other returning stars include James Earl Jones, Shari Headley, and, reportedly, Louie Anderson.  Coming To America 2 will focus on Akeem discovering a son he never knew about and his journey back to America to transform his heir into a prince.
