New York rapper Nas is far from done with his legal war against ex-wife Kelis. The hip-hop veteran has reportedly revealed his monthly expenses in their child custody dispute.
According to reports, Nas pays $15,000 on monthly rent payments and spends a grip on his family.
The rapper filed legal docs, obtained by TMZ, which show he makes about $175k per month from various sources (music, investments, etc.) and he has more than $8.3 million in cash in the bank. Nas lists his monthly expenses at $76,834.04 and that includes $20,245.70 that goes to helping various family members, including his father. The rapper also reveals he pays $15k per month in rent. Nas disclosed his financial info because he and Kelis are at war over child support. She says $8k per month ain’t cutting it anymore. (TMZ)

Despite a rocky split, Nas and Kelis spent nearly four years together.
In 2003, he and R&B singer Kelis began the relationship. They tied the knot in 2005, making national headlines. Their marriage was short-lived, though and just 4 years later Kelis filed for divorce. A spokesperson recalled her reasoning as “irreconcilable differences”, and the divorce was finalized in May of 2010. Why these abuse allegations were just made public now is unknown, and is somewhat peculiar considering their relationship ended almost a decade ago now. (SOHH)
Recently, Kelis made headlines after breaking her silence on their marriage.
“There was a lot of mental and physical abuse”, Kelis said. “His memory is definitely faulty. I’ve waited 9 years to say anything. I have never talked about this man. The amount of airing out that I could do and don’t do is what our kids will find out. … We had really intense highs and really intense lows. It was never normal. An intense high would be when money was rolling in. But I was 22 when I met him. We were drinking a lot, getting high a lot. So when that comes down, it was bad.” (The Hollywood Unlocked)
Kells also admitted her pregnancy with their son Knight made her leave Nas for good.
“An intense low….we had a lot. It was really dark. A lot of drinking.
