Rap veterans Nas and Lil Wayne have reportedly teamed up to perform at an upcoming music festival in Florida.
According to reports, Nasty Nas and Weezy F. Baby will perform at video website WorldStarHipHop’s “History In Tampa” festival next month.
WorldStarHipHop and Vybe Nation have curated a line-up that rivals Coachella, Made In America, and Hot 97 Summer Jam, H.I.T. Music Festival will be the first hip hop festival of it’s kind taking place in Tampa. Music legends Nas and Lil’Wayne will be joined on stage by August Alsina, Yo Gotti DJ Khaled & Friends, Fabolous, Waka Flocka Flame, Jim Jones, iLoveMakonnen, Troy Ave, Tink, Shy Glizzy, Trae Tha Truth, Cyhi The Prynce, Rayven Justice, Jo Rodeo and more. Other notable entertainers including boxing icon Muhammad Ali were honored at Harvard.
Boxing legend Muhammad Ali, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and rapper Nasir “Nas” Jones are among the 2015 recipients of Harvard’s W.E.B. DuBois Medal. This year’s winners will gather Wednesday at Harvard for an awards ceremony and panel discussion. Ali, who is battling Parkinson’s disease, will appear via a video link. (AP)
