New York rap veteran Nas and ex-wife Kelis don’t have to worry about a judge refereeing their child custody drama anymore. New reports claim the former couple have worked out their differences.
According to the latest reports, the duo have come to an agreement in regard to custody of their son Knight.
According to court docs, the exes hammered out specific dates where Nas will have custody of Knight for weekends. Dad gets four full weekends over January, February and March. Nas’ weekend visits will begin immediately after school on Fridays … thru Sunday night, or Monday night, if it’s a 3-day weekend. The new agreement also requires both parents to use their “best efforts to not popularize [Knight] in social media.” (TMZ)
A few weeks ago, buzz developed about Nas getting knee-deep into a legal war with his ex-wife.
Nas says he has “tried to work cooperatively with Kelis over the years,” but the “Milkshake” rapper only “allows” him to exercise his custody with their son “when she deems it convenient for her.” He says Kelis chooses when she will allow him custody of the child, and then for months at a time will “refuse to set up time for our son and me to spend time together.” The judge has not yet ruled on Nas’ request. Earlier in the week, Nas clocked in daddy duties with his daughter Destiny on-set of upcoming TV show “Grown-ish.”
