New York rapper Nas and ex-wife Kelis are back at it. The former happily ever after duo are facing off against one another in court over their eight-year-old son.

According to reports, Nas wants Kells punished for not honoring their child custody agreement.

Nas has filed legal docs asking a judge to penalize Kelis because she refused to turn over 8-year-old Knight … she says it’s because the kid wanted to stay with her during Passover. Nas says it was his weekend and the whole Passover thing doesn’t make sense. He says she’s been difficult generally when it comes to getting Knight. He says once when he arrived at her house, she screamed at him telling him he couldn’t take the child. (TMZ)

Last weekend, Nas linked up with his daughter Destiny Jones for an outing at Universal Studios Los Angeles.

A few weeks ago, Nas and his ex came to an agreement on their child custody situation.

We’ve learned Nas and Kelis have agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of Knight. The agreement is specific, breaking down who gets the child during various holidays. For example, Nas gets Knight on Father’s Day and Kelis gets the child on Mother’s Day. They’ll alternate Knight’s birthdays … he gets the even years and she gets the odd years. (TMZ)

Last year, buzz developed about Nas getting knee-deep into a legal war with his ex-wife.

Nas says he has “tried to work cooperatively with Kelis over the years,” but the “Milkshake” rapper only “allows” him to exercise his custody with their son “when she deems it convenient for her.” He says Kelis chooses when she will allow him custody of the child, and then for months at a time will “refuse to set up time for our son and me to spend time together.” The judge has not yet ruled on Nas’ request.
