New York rapper Nas is in a tech state of mind these days. The hip-hop veteran took a break from music-making this week to share a grip of robotic thoughts.
Early Tuesday, Nasir Jones hopped on Instagram with a ton of shots ranging from a robotic bug to sci-fi icon The Terminator.

Last weekend, Nas reflected on the impact late hip-hop radio deejay Mr. Magic had on him.

Prior to dying October 2009 from a heart attack, Magic made a name for himself in the hip-hop radio scene.
Mr. Magic, born John Rivas, was the first host on commercial radio to devote a program exclusively to rap when his “Rap Attack” began broadcasting on WBLS-FM in New York in April 1983. Disco and funk were then fading, and rap was emerging as a rebellious new art form in the streets, housing projects and parks of New York City. (New York Times)
