New York rapper Nas is completely here for Netflix and chill especially when it comes to hip-hop veteran Roxanne Shante. God’s Son has co-signed an upcoming must-see original based on the life of the fellow Queens native.

Nasir Jones went to Instagram Thursday (February 22) to get fans hyped up about Roxanne Roxanne.

Roxanne even went to social media to properly announce her upcoming Netflix film.

The must-watch movie features a slew of Hollywood heavyweights from Nia Long to Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali.

The Michael Larnell-directed film tells the story of the 14-year-old Queens MC—played by Chanté Adams—who was a member of the Juice Crew hip-hop collective. It also stars Nia Long, Mahershala Ali, Beastie Boys’ Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz), and more. Co-producers for the film include Pharrell Williams, Mimi Valdes, and Forest Whitaker.
