Rap veteran Mystikal is going to need the best lawyer money can buy. New reports claim the former No Limit Records and Cash Money star has been indicted on a rape and kidnapping charge.

According to reports, a Louisiana grand jury indicted the hip-hop vet.

The indictment Tuesday charges 46-year-old Michael Lawrence Tyler, who goes by the name Mystikal, with one count each of first-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping. His bond has been set. (KSLA News)

In mid-August, Mystikal publicly spoke out on his publicized legal nightmare.

Some reports claimed the alleged rape victim is lying about what happened.

Tenichia Wafford is wanted because cops say she tried to strong-arm the alleged victim into dropping charges that Mystikal and another man raped her in October of last year in Louisiana. Tenichia admits she called the woman, but only because they were friends, and that’s when the alleged victim told her there was no rape. It’s unclear if Tenichia is saying the alleged victim stated there was sexual contact with consent or no sexual contact at all. Tenichia says she recorded her conversation with the alleged victim. Days prior, reports initially developed over Mystikal’s serious case.

Shreveport Police obtained warrants for one count of First Degree Rape for Tyler and a second individual, Averweone Holman. Police are also looking for Tenichia Wafford, who allegedly tried to convince the victim to drop the charges. U.S. Marshals arrested Holman on Friday, but Tyler and Wafford are still at large. The alleged incident occurred at a Shreveport casino on October 22. (Pitchfork)
