Rap veteran Mystikal might have justice come to the light in his publicized rape case. A new report claims the hip-hop veteran might be getting wrongly accused of the sexual assault.
According to reports, an affiliate of the unnamed victim believes Mystikal is really in the clear of any wrongdoing.
Tenichia Wafford is wanted because cops say she tried to strong-arm the alleged victim into dropping charges that Mystikal and another man raped her in October of last year in Louisiana. Tenichia admits she called the woman, but only because they were friends, and that’s when the alleged victim told her there was no rape. It’s unclear if Tenichia is saying the alleged victim stated there was sexual contact with consent or no sexual contact at all. Tenichia says she recorded her conversation with the alleged victim. Last week, reports initially developed over Mystikal’s serious case.
Shreveport Police obtained warrants for one count of First Degree Rape for Tyler and a second individual, Averweone Holman. Police are also looking for Tenichia Wafford, who allegedly tried to convince the victim to drop the charges. U.S. Marshals arrested Holman on Friday, but Tyler and Wafford are still at large. The alleged incident occurred at a Shreveport casino on October 22. (Pitchfork)
There is reportedly evidence from the crime scene which connects Mystikal.
Sources say the allegation stems from an incident at a Shreveport casino. The rapper was in Shreveport-Bossier last year for the “Legends of Southern Hip-Hop” concert. Investigators reportedly collected evidence at the scene matching 46-year-old Michael Tyler (Mystikal) and 26-year-old Averweone Holman. (Fox 8 Live)
One report claimed there was a bond in the case set at $2 million.
UPDATE: Mystikal is now accused of rape. Police obtained warrants for the 46-year-old rapper and 26-year-old Averweone Holman. They are charged with one count each of First Degree Rape. Bond was set at $2 million each. (AHH)
