New York rapper Mysonne is more than disgusted with a Florida man making headlines for attacking a McDonald’s employee over a straw dispute. The hip-hop veteran has hit up social media to weigh-in on the drama.
The Big Apple native hopped on Instagram Wednesday (January 2) to unload his frustrations toward the Florida resident.

According to reports, the attack all stemmed from the suspect freaking out over not receiving a straw.
Yasmine James was behind the counter of the McDonald’s on 34th Street South, when St. Pete police say 41-year-old Daniel Taylor forcefully grabbed her and pulled her up onto the counter. According to police, James defended herself by punching Taylor in the face, as he held on to her shirt’s collar. (ABC Action News)
In addition to the McDonald’s victim featured in the now-viral video, the man allegedly attacked another worker.
After leaving the restaurant, Taylor returned to yell at the store manager and kicked another employee in the stomach before he once again left the scene. Taylor was later arrested on two counts of battery. “Our highest priority is always the safety and well-being of our employees and customers at our restaurants.” said a McDonald’s representative. “We have been in contact with the police department and are fully cooperating with their investigation.” (Local 10 News)
