Do you want to know what really happened with the murders of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G.? Want to know the truth? Need to see all of the criminal evidence?

Today, check out director Mike Dorsey’s top five reasons you should buy his new “Murder Rap: Inside The Biggie & Tupac Murders” this week! [Make sure to read each reason to win your own copy from SOHH/getFRUSH.com!]

Reason 1: The Access

The first reason you should watch “Murder Rap: Inside The Biggie & Tupac Murders” is because this is an inside look at all of the case files that I had access to. This is really the first film made about this that dives head on to all of the criminal investigations that went into trying to solve 2Pac and Biggie’s murders. The incredible access to the film is the first reason. We site around 40-something case files and have witness interviews from 10 different people from the tapes. There’s the confession to 2Pac’s murder on tape. It’s about all of this evidence.

Reason 2: Not The Same Story

The second reason is because there’s a lot of films on this subject from the past and they’ve always worked with a very small fraction of the evidence. So we’re in an uphill battle because we know some people are exhausted but I think people have been burned heavy in the past from films based on speculation and light on evidence. We have an enormous amount of evidence backing up the film.

Reason 3: The Confession

The third reason is because of the confession to 2Pac’s murder by the alleged leader of the Southside Crips gang in Los Angeles. That for me was the focus of the film. It’s all supported by other evidence. To hear his actual words about what went down that night in Las Vegas after the Tyson fight, it’s really fascinating.

Reason 4: The Process

The fourth reason is because of how long the process was. This was an incredibly long process. It took us two and a half years to make it and it’s just great to see it finally getting released to the world.

Reason 5: The Truth

The fifth reason is because this has been backed up by so many voices. It’s been on television through the Reelz channel since November and a lot of people have been able to see it that way. It’s also been on Amazon for a few weeks now. We have gotten a lot of support from people like Daz Dillinger on Twitter and Masta Ace tweeted about us this week. I have also heard from people online and have been contacted directly by people involved in the gang scene in the 90’s and they’re saying this is what they heard happened time and time again. I think there’s an authenticity to this and it’s the worst kept secret in Compton. This is what happened.

  1. A lot of fans band wagon…their right cant knock them….but pac didnt have band wagon music it hit you the anger the emotion the passion was felt through the speakers….all hail king Pac

    • Sidenote: i cant front i get mad…when cats short change pac…when debating whos the best …most record sold means most listened to…jay and em are his only comp…NO ONE ELSE..DEAD OR ALIVE CAME  CLOSE….

    • sales dont mean ish. especially when them dudes who brag about their fav artist has more sales than whoever aint makin a penny of the sales.

    • sales dont count in judging quality…but in crowning a king you have to go by sales because every one like different music…people scream biggie as king….i spit on that thought…not him but the thought of being best…he put out two album 3 if you count the demo 2 if you take away life after death…yes it sold but how can his catalog get him that…its not my desire to discredit big…but giving him the crown is disrespectful…when i question people i never get good answers some say sales cause his one album sold so much…to that i say pac sold more wayne sold more fifty sold more…plus wayne and in fifty did it in a way it changed the whole game and mixtape market…biggie with all respect not even the best in brooklyn…busta jay fab…then i ask again and people say his stuff moved ok …well pac stuff moved people and in had meaning outside of money drugs and women…i think ny treat all things ny as if they are the best and because ny is a media heavy weight leader the rest of the world follows…biggie as the best is trendy and gets yous cool points and likes…example yankee hats …cats wear the hat even when they know nothing about baseball…people like paltrow dont know rap but yet when asked she listed biggie as the best….thats my point in a nut shell….your right to a point sales dont equal great quality…but we need some kind of scale cause its no way a man with two albums one being a album where he was out rapped because it was pieced together due to death can get you the crown…rank is not given to potential….
