According to reports, Bow Weezy owes money for a leased whip dating back to 2009.

We just found some documents that show creditors have been chasing him for 3 years over a car. B.W. leased a 2005 Ferrari F430 back in 2008. It didn’t take long for the rapper to fall behind, because in February, 2009, the leasing company sued him and got a judgment for $216,084 … oh, and 75 cents. Since getting the judgment, the leasing company has been on the hunt for payment, using a collection agent to track down Bow Wow. Mr. Wow never paid, and now with interest the judgment has swelled to $283,785 … oh, and 13 cents. Bow Wow told the custody judge he only had $1,500 in his bank account and leases a jeep. Wow, maybe Bow was telling the truth. (TMZ)

Earlier in the week, reports claimed he only made $4,000 monthly as a Cash Money employee.

Bow Wow has been ordered to pay child support for his 1-year-old daughter, but we’ve learned he withheld critical financial information from the judge. Bow Wow and baby mama Joie Chavis were in court Monday, fighting over exactly how much Bow Wow is worth and how much he has to pay. After some haggling, Bow Wow voluntarily agreed to shell out $3,000 a month in support for baby Shai. Bow Wow told the judge … he makes $4,000 a month working as an employee at Cash Money Records, and that’s it. He testified he leases a Jeep and has a grand total of $1,500 in his checking account. So here’s the question — if he makes $4,000 a month before taxes, how can he afford to pay $3,000 a month in child support? (TMZ)

A few days ago, the rap veteran landed a gig as BET’s “106 & Park” co-host.

After Terrence J and Rocsi Diaz‘s emotional departure from BET’s 106 & Park, the music countdown show has named rapper/actor Bow Wow the new host alongside Ms. Mykie from Houston, Texas; Paigion and Shorty Da Prince, from Detroit, Michigan. Contestants went through weeks of “The Search” from online video submissions to on-air screen tests. Ms. Mykie, Paigion and Shorty beat out thousands of hopefuls to land the prestigious spots, which has been filled in the past by the likes of AJ Calloway, Free and Big Tigger. (VIBE Vixen)

In May, Bow Weezy laughed off his past publicized tax problems.

“H*ll yeah! [Laughs] Word up. Tell ’em blog that! Yeah I wrote that check, tell ’em blog that,” Bow Wow said when asked if he would like to confirm not having any legal or tax issues as of now. “People be forgetting, celebrities we work. I’m in the studio, I’m on a movie set, I have a million things for me to worry about. That’s just something like ‘Oh s–t, I forgot.’ You need that [check]? That’s the situation, but I’m all good. If I wasn’t good then my black a– would’ve been in jail! (Hip Hop Wired)
