[After partnering with music mogul Jay Z’s Tidal streaming service, “Money & Violence” creator Moise Vernau talks to SOHH about the show’s popularity and possibly bringing in celebrity cameos.]

At the end of the day, we’re looking to grow the series and we’re looking to progress. We want to see new ideas but at the same time, we also have to keep the authenticity of the show because that’s a huge part of it.

If it makes sense to have cameos and we can find a natural way to bring people into the show, then it’s something we would entertain.

But it’s not something that we would do just to do it. I feel that would actually take away from the show instead of add to it.

What a lot of people don’t know is that with season one, not only did I write and act in it, not only did I shoot it, I edited and directed it.

The amount of pressure that was on season one has actually lessened now due to the fact we have a production company that’s come into play. We have Tidal now backing us up and helping us. It’s actually less pressure.

I’m doing less now so I can focus on cultivating my craft as a director and writer.

Be on the lookout for more exclusives from out chat with Moise Vernau!
