Fashion model Selita Ebanks has played coy with rumors suggesting she is Kanye West's latest girlfriend after being spotted with the rapper on numerous occasions.
Denying a brewing romance with Yeezy, Ebanks did admit to sharing a bond with him.
Last night, at the New Yorkers for Children Gala in NYC, Selita Ebanks denied to reporters that she’s dating Kanye West. “I’m just happy that he’s a great friend,” she told reporters at the gala, which she hosted. “No, no, no” she said when asked if their US Open appearance was a date. Even though she said they’re just friends, she’s certainly passionate about why she loves him, “I love his creativity. I love that he thinks outside the box. He’s just himself. Not only am I a fan, I support him 100 percent.” (OK Magazine)
West is also currently being linked to ex-Pussycat Doll singer Melody Thornton.
Kanye West has started seeing former Pussycat Dolls star Melody Thornton. The singer confirmed the romance on her blog on Saturday by posting a picture of her with the rapper and with designer Karl Lagerfeld at New York Fashion Week. ‘Can you guess which one is my new “boyfriend”?’ she writes. Kanye, 33, and Melody, 25, are thought to have been dating for a couple of weeks. (Now Magazine)
Last month, Kanye West talked with radio host Angie Martinez about his two-year run with former lover Amber Rose.
“Yeah man, it was an amazing time and it came to an end,” West said. “One of the greatest things that she showed me was just to be a nicer person because she was so disconnected from the concept of celebrity when I first met her…A celebrity could be talking to people crazy and everyone’s used to it at the label like, ‘He’s wildin’ out. It doesn’t matter.’ [Amber] be like, ‘What?! You just talked to your fans so crazy right now. I’m not even talking to you right now.’ … I grew from that. “They are still good friends,” a source tells Us. “Kanye is consumed with recording his comeback record in Hawaii and had to shut it all off. When he’s in work mode, he can’t handle a relationship. He told Amber he needs to devote everything right now to his craft…. I wouldn’t say it’s over for good [for West and Rose.] It’s always off-and-on when it’s convenient for these two.
