Model Claims Solange Nearly Fought Her Over Jay Z Flirting: “I Was About To Get My A** Beat” [Video]

Female rapper/model Liv has come forward to speak out on how protective Solange Knowles is over her superstar sister and why flirting with Jay Z a few years back was almost costly. #ImmaFlirt

According to Liv, a chance encounter with Jay Z almost came to a bloody end with Solange close-by at Miami’s Nobu venue in 2008.

“I told you the day Jay Z and I exchanged numbers (at Nobu Miami), Solange came walking up out of no where!” Liv told us. “I thought I was about to get my a** beat myself so I backed off quickly … She has been guarding her sister’s property since day one. Bey doesn’t even have to say anything. Solange is a beast.” (Hollywood Life)

She also alleged Jigga may have a tendency to flirt with other women.

“Solange was ready to beat my butt once she got off that elevator and saw Jay and I talking. Jay saw Solange, and then he rushed and sent me to his body guard to exchange numbers with him, his name was Norman. He gave me a phone number and I guess that was Jay Z’s extra phone for his girls to call … Norman has since passed. I can’t believe I dodged an ass whoppin’ from Solange that day … She was a big reason for why I left him alone … She gave me a look of death, very scary!” (Hollywood Life)

In a statement released to the media this week, the Carter-Knowles emphasized they were still a tight-knit family.

“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.” (Statement)

They also denied speculation of Solange being under the influence of alchohol.

“The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.” (Statement)
