According to reports, Missy has taken legal action to get her Lambo.

The rapper filed the lawsuit in Florida against Fox Valley Motor Cars, claiming she entered into an agreement with the dealership last year to buy a 2012 Matte White Lambo Aventador (below, in orange) for $376,000. According to the lawsuit, Missy — repped by Singh, Singh & Trauben — agreed to make a down payment that included $30,000 in cash AND her 2005 Bentley (valued at $85,000). In return, Missy claims the dealership agreed to ship her the Lambo by mid 2012 … but never did. (TMZ)

Elliott’s lawsuit also claims the dealership changed their agreement without her knowledge or consent.

Missy says she contacted Fox Valley for an explanation — and was told the terms of the deal had changed because the market value of the car had risen. According to the lawsuit, Fox Valley refused to deliver the car for the agreed upon sale price — and demanded way more money in exchange for the vehicle. But Missy says that’s BS — and now, she’s suing Fox Valley for possession of her Lambo, plus damages resulting from the dealership’s breach of contract. (TMZ)

Outside of the legal war, R&B singer Monica offered her take on Missy’s absence from music as of late.

“Missy is missing from music and hip-hop because there’s no one as creative, as dedicated,” said the R&B songstress, who collaborated with Missy on her latest album New Life. “She thinks outside the box, but at the same time, draws you in the box that she’s in. She’s able to make visuals of things that I’ve never even dreamed of. I think hip-hop really needs her right now.” She’s been lucky enough to hear some of Missy’s latest material. “I’ve heard some new music and all I can tell you is that Missy is at her absolute best when she’s at peace with herself and there’s no pressure,” she shared. “She’s been able to work on her record with a host of real talented people and reinvent herself all over again.” (Rap-Up)

Over the winter, producer Timbaland said fans could expect a new album from her by this past June.

“Me and Missy are both coming with our albums at the same time, and it will be in June,” Timbo told MTV News in his Miami home February 3. It’s been three years since Timbaland released Shock Value II and seven years since Missy dropped The Cookbook. If all goes according to plan, fans won’t have to wait much longer. “Right now, we’re preparing to get both our videos, our first singles, shot kinda at the same time,” Tim said. “We want to do it as a movement and spontaneously.” (MTV)
