Retired boxing champion Mike Tyson has reacted to last weekend's news of R&B stars Chris Brown and Frank Ocean allegedly knuckling up and brawling at a Los Angeles recording studio.

Tyson said despite his tough guy image, he doubted any advice would stick in their heads considering how much money they make.

“That’s the furthest thing from me now, man,” he said — he could definitely relate to their situation. After all, it’s one he’s found himself in more times than he’d care to recall. “Even when I was in fights and these guys started it and I finished it, I still went to jail. They didn’t go to jail! They had guns and stuff and they told the cops ‘Yeah we were going to shoot him’ and they still put me in jail!” he sighed. “A situation like [those] two guys, there’s not much advice you can give them. It’s hard to listen to somebody when you’ve got a couple of hundred million dollars, or $50 million or whatever, it’s hard to listen to somebody. Sometimes you’ve got to feel the fire to know it’s hot.” (MTV)

Iron Mike also warned of the consequences which typically come with high-profile brawls.

“These guys realize they’re going to get locked up, they’re going to get fined a hell of a lot of money, you know, now they’re going to be stereotypes … it’s going to be on record that these guys are bad guys, and they constantly get in trouble,” he continued. “And the next thing you know you got a lawyer involved, you got a cop involved, you got a prosecutor involved, you got a jury involved. You’re up s— creek without a paddle.” (MTV)

Recent reports have claimed Ocean may press charges against Breezy.

Although officials have yet to file any formal charges, Frank Ocean says he wants Chris Brown prosecuted in light of their scuffle over a parking space in West Hollywood, according to a Reuters report. That would be very bad news for Brown, who’s on probation for assaulting his girlfriend, Rihanna, the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards. If charges were filed, it’s possible that Brown’s probation could be revoked, Reuters said. (Los Angeles Times)

Despite the controversy, neither Brown or Ocean have been arrested.

Police say that Grammy-nominated singer Frank Ocean is “desirous of prosecution” after an alleged altercation with dancer-singer Chris Brown at a West Hollywood studio over a parking spot. Steve Whitmore, a spokesperson for the L.A. Sheriff’s Office, told the Wall Street Journal, “we investigate and then we give it to the district attorney’s office. This is a misdemeanor charge. We have no idea if anybody is going to be officially arrested.” Brown has not been charged in the case. (Wall Street Journal)
