Atlanta trio Migos’ Offset reportedly appeared in court today (October 9) and tried to bury his perceived gang member image.

Offset requested to be released on bond because he does not pose a real threat.

Offset was in court in Georgia on Friday to take another shot at convincing a judge to let him out on bond … something he was denied because of his felony record. However, Offset claims he was painted as a gang member by the prosecutor just for being in Migos. The prosecutor says Offset’s “gang-related tattoos” on his body clearly show he’s the CEO of the Black Migos Gang. Big mix-up according to Offset who says Black Migos Gang is just a record label. Back in May, Offset revealed he had a bond hearing and hoped to be released.

“Yeah man, I’m good, what’s happening,” Offset said in a phone interview. “Eh man, I don’t know what these folks [are saying]. They’re talking about I said eff the judge, man. I never said nothing like that, man. I’m getting out in like three weeks. I got another bond hearing. They denied my bond because I caught them extra charges. I can’t really talk too much about the case but yeah these folks out here are racist, man. They’re trying to bash my name, trying to make my image look bad.” (“Durtty Boyz”)

Recent reports claimed Offset let loose some emotions during a recent bond hearing.

April reports claimed Offset had to find out if a judge would grant him freedom.

It looks Migos rappers Quavo and Takeoff are home free, except Offset. The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office tells XXL that Offset’s bond was deinied by the D.A. office and he’s going to have a hearing to see if the judge grants him a bond. The court date is still unknown. (XXL Mag)
