Atlanta trio Migos, Nicki Minaj, Janelle Monae and more high-profile entertainers are taking over next month’s 2018 BET Awards ceremony.

According to BET’s social media pages, fans can look forward to a grip of headline-generating top-notch performances.

Hollywood superstar Jamie Foxx is slated to make a much-needed return to host the awards show.

Jamie Foxx will host the 2018 BET Awards, which happens Sunday, June 24. It is Foxx’s second time hosting the awards show, having hosted in 2009. The event happens at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, and airs on BET. Also scheduled to step on stage are Leslie Jones, Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Chris Rock, Mo’Nique and Kevin Hart. As previously announced, DJ Khaled dominates this year’s nominations with a total of 6 including ‘Video of the Year,’ two for ‘Best Collaboration,’ with Rihanna and Bryson Tiller for ‘Wild Thoughts,’ and with Jay-Z, Future and Beyoncé for ‘Top Off,’ ‘Album of the Year,’ and ‘Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice.’ Kendrick Lamar follows with five nods including ‘Best Collaboration,’ with Rihanna for ‘Loyalty.,’ ‘Video of the Year,’ ‘Album of the Year,’ and ‘Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice.’ Other leading nominees include Migos, nominated for four awards including ‘Best Group,’ and ‘Album of the Year,” and SZA, also nominated for four awards, including ‘Best Female R&B/Pop Artist’ and ‘Best New Artist.’ (Business Wire)
