This weekend, Migos’ Quavo reacted to buzz about their Culture II album doing monster first-week numbers.
According to reports, Migos’ latest release easily knocked out its competition to land the top spot.
Red-hot Quality Control/Motown/Capitol trio Migos has secured the #1 spot on our Top 50 Chart, moving 200k in Culture II’s first week out. The only other debut in the Top 40 belongs to Anjunabeats’ Above & Beyond, whose Common Ground lands at #5 with 39k. Then there are the Grammy bumps. Naturally, Atlantic’s Bruno Mars, who swept the Big Three categories, sees one of the more noteworthy ascensions, going #14-3, up 169%. Best New Artist nominees, show performers and RCA labelmates Khalid and SZA also move the needle. (HITS Daily Double)
