Comedian Michael Blackson is pouring his heart out for the Philadelphia Eagles. The hip-hop funnyman has paused his jokes to discuss just how much the Eagles’ Super Bowl run means to him.

Last night, Blackson put up a few Instagram posts about his love for Philly and why a Super Bowl win for the city could be legendary.

Let me tell you what this city of #Philadelphia means to me, without Philly non of you modasuckas would know who I am because that’s where my comedy career started back in 93. When I first came to America I spent the first two years in Newark NJ but my life changed when I moved to Philly, I felt at home and my mom was finally able to afford a 3 bedroom row house for $300 a month and I was finally able to have my own room at 5503 Regent street that was way back in ‘89 but I still remember that address. I lived thru the struggle of not winning a championship till 2008 when the Phillies won the World Series and it was also the year Barack won plus I built my first house outside of Philly in Delaware. Ten years later today the @philadelphiaeagles have a chance to duplicate that joy they brought to Philly. World Series is cool but there’s nothing like a super bowl game. This championship game is not about who’s better but who wants it the most. All we want as fans is for the #Eagles to lay it all on the line, play with your heart and play for this city that taught me the best way to avoid getting your ass whopped is by making that bully laugh.

After some big play-off comebacks this season, the Pats and Eagles will put it all on the line February 4 in Minnesota.

And then there were two … #SBLII #NFLPlayoffs
