The new track comes courtesy of Wu-Tang head RZA sending it over to the popular New York radio station to premiere.

Fresh off a solid performance at Hot 97 Summer Jam, the Wu-Tang collective unleash a brand new track which is the first taste off their forthcoming 20th Anniversary album A Better Tomorrow, coming later this year. RZA decided to send the soulful track to Peter Rosenberg to premiere it on Hot 97 and below is the radio rip. (HHNM)

While Ghostface Killah and RZA’s presences are felt, Method Man shines on the new track with reminder references that this is not an archived Wu track.

“We dropped ‘All In Together Now,’ Wu-Tang Forever now,” Mef raps. “20 years later, we still bang whatever now/We turn change to cheddar, if I could take a quote from Obama, ‘Change is better’/I vow to never let cha down…” (“Family Reunion”)

The Wu took to the MetLife stage over the weekend to reunite for Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert.

Wu-Tang Clan, who also celebrated 20 years in music Sunday, showed no signs of slowing down with a set that felt both fresh and nostalgic. Too bad the crowd didn’t think so. The young audience grew excited during small parts of the rap group’s set, and Ghostface Killah, Method Man, RZA, Raekwon and the other members seemed to notice. “All we ask is that the energy we give to you, give it back to us,” Method Man told the crowd. “I think New York forgot about us a little, man,” RZA said later. Despite some of the crowd’s disinterest in the veteran group, they blazed the stage, performing jams like “Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing ta (Expletive) Wit,” “Da Mystery of Chessboxin'” and “C.R.E.A.M.” (Huffington Post)

The newest reunion track comes weeks after a previously unreleased Wu effort hit the Internet.

Months away from their upcoming new album, A Better Tomorrow, some unreleased music from the Wu-Tang Clan hits the web. Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, RZA and U-God join forces to unleash “Execution In Autumn,” which was produced by Frank Dukes. Unreleased or not, this is some official material here. (Hype Trak)
