Former video vixen Melyssa Ford recently shared her thoughts on celebrity groupie Kat Stacks and why the rapper-exposing Internet starlet won't disappear from the spotlight any time soon.
From Ford’s perspective, the artists she sleeps with are ultimately at fault for fueling Stacks’ image.
“She’s gotten slapped three times? If somebody really wanted to do something to her, they probably would have done it already. Basically, what she proved is that people just talk a lot of sh*t, because she just keeps coming back. She’s like, ‘Y’all ain’t gonna hold me down. I’m gonna continue doing what I do. Yeah, I got slapped. Now I’m going to protect myself from that sh*t. But guess what, I’m gonna keep on talking.’ She’s never made a secret of what she is or what she’s doing and what her motivation is. It’s clear cut, so it’s your bad if you choose to get involved with it. It’s funny that she happens to be the one doing it. She’s reflecting the mirror back on the person who chooses to talk sh*t about her. A bunch of rappers are like, ‘She ain’t sh*t,’ but y’all are the ones that f*cking connected with her on Twitter, met up with her, f*cked her and bought her sh*t. The fact of the matter is, she ended up with your personal information for a reason. You gave it to her. So, you can’t really condemn somebody for doing exactly what they said they would do. I think she’s a total enigma. She came out of left field. She hasn’t made apologies for any of her behavior and people keep falling victim to it, even though she promotes the person that she is. It’s like she’s hiding in plain sight. That is the perfect thing to say about her. Kat Stacks is hiding in plain sight, and if you choose to put blinders on then that’s your bad.” (VIBE)
Recently, 50 Cent shared his thoughts on Stacks and questioned her past.
“I really don’t have an opinion of her,” 50 said about Stacks. “I know people who are on the track and they belong on the track. I know people on the track and they’re there because of things that have happened in their lives that sent them there, whether they had a real dysfunctional environment or someone raped them or did something to them that actually got them there. For a personal that psychologically is in a space that she’s in, you would have to have experienced something. She thinks she’s getting something out of sleeping with everybody she can find.” (Hot 97)
Grammy-winning rap star Nelly believes Stacks may be mentally troubled.
“She knows it wasn’t true,” Nelly told DJ Vlad regarding their alleged sexual encounters. “You can make up these lies because everything you’re saying is generic. You’re not saying specifics as if you dated a person like you said for two months. If you dated somebody for two months, you should know specifics. You shouldn’t be reading numbers off a piece of paper. Then you’re reading it wrong, you f*cked the number up. You should know a hotel or a venue where you and this person was at. You said The Hit Factory, well d*mn, that’s a studio. Everybody knows Hit Factory in Miami, everybody knows [Lil] Wayne is at the Hit Factory in Miami. That’s not a secret — This is what I tried to tell people, this girl is crazy and they don’t understand. I said in an interview, ‘Yo, this girl has a problem and that was just the tip of the iceberg.’ Like, she’s mental, I’m really worried about her because I’m like, when people are mental like that, they do things without thinking about consequences. That’s what separates the sane from the insane…The biggest surprise is how can you still be f*cking with her after all this sh*t. That’s the biggest surprise.” (Vlad TV)
In a recent XXL Magazine feature, Stacks voiced her initial remorse for exposing rap stars.
“When I first made the Internet blog, I regretted it, because everybody stopped talking to me,” Stacks revealed in the interview. “But as I got bigger in time, bigger names and muthaf*ckas in the game, they all started getting at me. It just upgraded my career. Now I don’t gotta go work. I don’t gotta do sh*t. All I gotta do is show up at a [club] and get paid [for appearances] I don’t regret it anymore. The first time I did it, I was like, ‘D*mn, why the f*ck I did this sh*t? Because I was drunk? Just to embarrass muthaf*ckas?’ I didn’t expect to get money out of it. Now these muthaf*ckas keep f*ckin’ with me, so I’m gonna continue to do Kat Stacks.” (The 305)
