‘Megan Thee Stallion vs Tory Lanez: Five Shots’

Featuring interviews with attorneys, journalists, and key individuals involved, Megan Thee Stallion vs. Tory Lanez: Five Shots provides a comprehensive analysis of the events leading up to Lanez’s indictment and 10-year sentence. According to the Daily Mail +, the two-part documentary will examine the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion from both sides.

The documentary aims to uncover the truth behind the shooting incident that took place during a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s LA mansion in July 2020. According to reports, an argument erupted between Megan and Lanez, escalating to violence. 

Five shots were fired, with Megan sustaining a gunshot wound to her foot. In the aftermath, the Houston native publicly revealed that Lanez was responsible for shooting her.

Megan Thee Stallion vs. Tory Lanez: Five Shots features commentary from Lanez’s first manager Fred E. Fame and court reporter Meghann Cuniff, who provide insights into the night of the shooting and the subsequent timeline of events. Companies really just want to capitalize on everyone’s trauma.” One other reaction was a user saying “ this is disgusting, and the comments are really making me sick. That pos was found guilty. Let megan relax instead of letting idiots call her a liar. PROTECT BLACK WOMEN YOU F*UCKING FREAKS!!!!.” One other joked and said “Yall can’t be serious….but i’m watching.”

Lanez Goes To Court

On Dec. 23, 2022,  Lanez was convicted in a jury trial on three felony charges including assault with a semiautomatic handgun, having a loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle and gross negligence in discharging his firearm. On August 8, 2023, the Canadian artist was then sentenced for 10 years after being found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion back in July 2020 and planned to appeal the sentence. 

The appeal is set to take place on Sept. 5 at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center.

Megan Breaks Her Silence

In August 2023, Megan Thee Stallion performed at the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco and addressed her “haters” after  Lanez was found guilty of shooting her back in 2020: 

“I just wanna say… F*CK all my haters! None of that shit you was doing or saying broke me,” Megan said while performing.
