Superstar couple Jay Z and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter are reportedly on the verge of making diehard fans' dreams come true with the announcement of a joint summer tour.
According to reports, Young Hov and Queen Bey will likely take center stage with a slew of show dates beginning in June.
Sources exclusively tell Page Six that hip hop’s royal couple plans to announce a 20-stadium US tour that will start in late June — and that it’s possible the couple could perform in New York on July 4. The two recently wrapped individual tours that supported their latest albums: Jay closed out 52 dates for his “Magna Carta… Holy Grail” in January, while Bey wrapped her “Mrs. Carter Show” tour in March. They made headlines this past winter with a few notable live performances.
The couple has performed their hit single, “Drunk in Love,” together at a string of high-profile shows, including this year’s Grammy Awards, a DirecTV Super Bowl party and Beyoncé’s O2 Arena gig in London on Feb. 28. (New York Post)

They made separate cameos at Coachella on the weekend, and the artists recently bagged more than 180 combined dates on their global tours. Hov’s 52-date “Magna Carter” tour finished in January, while Bey’s 132-date “Mrs. Carter Show” trek ended in March. (Billboard)
Media outlets have noted how much of a close-knit relationship the Carters have made with their respective careers.
Her “visual album,” “BEYONCÉ,” which she released as a surprise in December, is an opus to sex-positive feminism and a celebration of her relationship with Jay-Z. Even on songs where he’s not featured, his voice backs her up. Jay never says a word in the video for “Partition,” but his presence is undeniable.
