Maybach Music Group’s Meek Mill might be a free man in the next 96 hours. Speculation has developed about the Dreamchasers boss possibly coming home on bail by Monday.

Atlanta rapper T.I. and hip-hop producer Pete Rock went to Instagram to geek followers up about Meek possibly getting out.

According to reports, Philadelphia mayor Jim Kenney pulled through this week to visit Meek.

Sources at the prison tell us Kenney was spotted leaving the facility Wednesday morning with 76ers owner Michael Rubin, who’s visited several times before… including Tuesday when he brought Patriots owner Robert Kraft to visit the incarcerated rapper. According to the Mayor’s spokeswoman … Rubin invited Mayor Kenney, and the visit with Meek lasted about an hour. We’re told Hizzoner believes the rapper could better serve the community outside prison. (TMZ)

Yesterday, MMG’s Wale revealed he had a personal conversation with Meek Milly.

This week, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft talked about meeting Meek during his stint behind bars.

“He’s an amazing young ma. I know how I’d feel if I were in the situation he is in. He’s very intelligent. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know him over the last two to three years, maybe even longer. Every time I see him, I just come away more impressed – it makes it clear to me we have to do something with criminal justice reform. This kind of case, to be in a situation like this, it’s really bad. It’s just wrong and we have to find a way to correct it and also help the community help themselves. This is just sad. This guy is a great guy and shouldn’t be here.” (CBS Philly)

  1. Black people please! Why do we do this to ourselves? Especially when the uneducated ones talk or write. So Shut the F’up T.I with your dumb ass! You do not speak for us!

  2. Boo terrible over stated lyrics and boring raps from another average trap rapper. His raps are weak, at least he’ll be free. Hopefully the courts don’t screw him over again.
