Maybach Music Group’s Meek Mill isn’t going to let fans pencil in a drop date for his long-awaited Wins & Losses follow-up. The hip-hop star recently updated fans on the status of his new album.
According to Meek, he plans to put out the new studio effort with little to no notices and also address NFL free agent Colin Kaepernick‘s Black Lives Matter activism on a new song.
“They won’t lynch him by hanging from a tree. They lynch his bank account,” Meek said, riffing a few bars and then explaining the takeaway. The rapper told The Post that the Kaepernick song will appear on his next album. “I’m not actually giving out a release date, it’s a surprise album,” he said. (Page Six)
This month, Meek shared studio pics of himself hanging out alongside rap stars Future and Kodak Black.
