Maybach Music Group’s Meek Mill still has place in his heart for fallen Dreamchasers protégé Lil Snupe. The hip-hop artist went to social media this week to pay homage to the slain rapper.
Meek Milly went to Instagram Wednesday (June 13) to acknowledge Snupe’s born day.

Back in 2013, Meek Mill took personal offense when one-time rap rival Cassidy referenced Snupe in a battle record.
“This last one I ain’t really listen to it but I heard he said something about Lil Snupe. That little kid died and he’s got family. People I be around don’t play like that. I don’t talk about people’s family members or friends or somebody who that died, in a rap.” (RapFix)
On Cass’ “Catch A Body” diss song, he low-key blamed Meek for getting Snupe killed.

Meek attended Snupe’s funeral in summer 2013 and initially signed him to his record label.
Hundreds of mourners gathered this weekend to pay their final respects to Lil Snupe, the promising 18-year-old rapper who was shot and killed earlier this month. According to the Shreveport Times, the teen’s funeral service was held on Saturday at Jonesboro-Hodge High School in Lil Snupe’s hometown of Jonesboro, La. Mourners reportedly began arriving three hours before the service began. Rapper Meek Mill, who had signed Lil Snupe (born Addaren Ross) to his DreamChasers record label last year, was among the many attendees. (Huffington Post)
