Meek Mill Uses Ex-Bad Boy Shyne For Motivation: “I Ain’t Coming Off No Cheddar”

Maybach Music Group‘s Meek Mill is feeling like a bad boy. The Philadelphia rapper put out some words of wisdom courtesy of former Bad Boy artist Shyne this week.

Meek went to his Instagram page last night (September 6) and quoted Shyne’s classic “The Hit”

Reports surfaced this week about Meek’s MMG boss Rick Ross trying to broker a peace with his rival Drake.

“I heard Drake and Ross met in Prime 112 to squash the beef between Meek Mill and Drake,” N.O.R.E claimed on Drink Champs “I heard that and listen, if that rumor is correct, that’s what we need to happen.” The rapper/podcaster admitted he probably wasn’t suppose to spill the beans, but didn’t care anyway because a truce is what’s needed in hip-hop, continuing, “I don’t even think I was suppose to blow up but it’s okay. I heard Ross, Drake met with each other.” (UPROXX)

Recently, Rick Ross spoke out on Meek’s publicized feud with Drizzy.

“Nah, nah,” Ross said when asked if he had talked to Drake since the feud has picked up steam. “Nah [I won’t reach out]. You gotta understand, it’s like this, sh*t, we all rich n*ggas. Well, I know I’m a rich n*gga. I know what Meek Mill getting. I don’t know what they business like. I don’t know what’s really touching the bank account. [laughs] Just off some 1,000 sh*t, you either be ‘g’ enough to [deal with whatever] the issue is, just bring it to the table or you just let it go out of control and see what happens.” (“Drink Champs”)

Yung Renzel also said he would remain by Meek’s side if the dispute continued to heat up.

“You need to tighten up so n*ggas can get it right,” Ross added. “If you assuming a n*gga respect whoever your big homie is, you’re wrong, if you assuming me. And for my dog, I don’t, you know, so, it’s whatever if it’s gonna be whatever. Yeah. If it’s gotta go there, Renzel’s going to jump off the porch on your a**. And that’s just the way I’ve always been and I’ma die that way. It’s just that’s what it is. You just gotta know what you’re doing. For my dogs, for my family, that’s what it is.
