The prologue landed across the Internet early Friday (March 29).

As we informed you earlier, Meek Mill will be releasing his debut novel Tony Story on May 1st, which is an expansion of the stories on his songs ‘Tony Story 1? and Tony Story 2?. Before the book is available in digital and paperback formats on May 1, HHNM has the exclusive look at the prologue. It was penned by Meek and fine tuned by CEO, George Sherman Hudson and COO, Shawna A. of G Street Chronicles who will be publishing the book. You can pre-order it on Amazon now. Buzz behind the unexpected business venture surfaced online last week.

The book will follow the story of two friends, Tony and Ty, who become enemies as a result of greed, envy and money, as well as those who become entangled in their conflict. The story also takes place in Mill’s hometown and the description of the book boasts that, “Philly won’t be the same after you’re a witness to Tony Story.” Mill is also gearing up for the release of the third installment of his ‘Dreamchasers’ series which should be out on May 6th. Meek has also stayed busy as of late, dropping a music video for his and Rick Ross‘ “Believe It” joint effort.

Meek Mill and Rick Ross have released the official video for their ‘Believe It’ collaboration. The track is from the Meek’s 2012 debut ‘Dreams and Nightmares’. Following a mafia-style-meeting in the middle of Nevada desert, the video sees the MMG duo take over Las Vegas – ciroc flows, money falls, and girls dance as they live that casino-crime lifestyle. Maybach Music’s in-house director Dre Films shot the video. Meanwhile, the Philly rapper has been working on numerous projects including his ‘Tony’s Story’ novel and his forthcoming ‘Dreamchasers 3’ mixtape. (Drop Out UK)

Along with the music and book venture, Meek sparked some attention after appearing on MTV’s annual “Hottest MCs in the Game” list.
