Maybach Music Group‘s Meek Mill is finally counting down to his delayed Dreamchasers 4 release. The Philadelphia rapper went to social media this week to tease the mixtape’s drop date.
Meek jumped on Instagram Monday (August 22) and penciled in a September release.
Mill recently treated IG followers to some new music presumably off DC4.

Recently, Mill talked about delaying his highly-anticipated DC4.
“If I got five dollars for somebody asked me every time when DC4 comes out I’d probably have $5 million right now. It’s a mixtape slash album, basically. This mixtape right here is my reintroduction for the people that doubted me,” Meek said when asked about his mixtape’s status. “I’ve been going through real things. I like to take my time. Me? I never let fans determine when I drop my music. I never moved off the word of a fan. People can’t just tell me ‘Drop music tomorrow.’ I don’t do it like that. I move on my own timing.” (My Mixtapez)
Earlier this summer, Meek’s go-to producer Jahlil Beats provided some insight on his long-awaited Dreamchasers 4 mixtape.
“Aye yo, look. I got a couple crazy joints on DC4, too and that ‘Tony Story 3′ on there is ridiculous. And we got a hit on there we’re going to murder the clubs with. You already know – same ol’ sh*t. I’ma tell y’all why Meek ain’t dropped DC4 yet. It’s ’cause he’s not rushing, man. We got the 4 for 4’s out. That should hold people over, man. That DC4’s coming in the fall man, it’s coming in the fall. It’s ridiculous.”
