Maybach Music Group’s Meek Mill is out here reminding fans why TIDAL might low-key be worth supporting over major competition like Apple Music and Spotify. The hip-hop star has urged supporters to put their faith into JAY-Z‘s streaming giant to grab his and Beyoncé’s new Everything Is Love album.
Meek went to Instagram Saturday (June 16) and explained why rap fans should support a black-owned operation.
ONLY ON TIDAL 🤷🏾♂️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 idk why y’all even debating about what block y’all gone spend y’all money with … it’s like 4 blocks that sell music I spend with them other blocks too… This one black owned it’s nothing really to talk about … they blocks can make money too but hip-hop powered by black people so we deserve to eat off our own creation! #getthatselfhateupoutyou
A few hours ago, JAY and Bey shocked fans by releasing their surprise new LP.
It had been rumored for years and it has finally arrived: a joint Beyonce-Jay-Z album. Called “Everything Is Love,” the announcement was made by TIDAL, the streaming company owned by Jay-Z. It features nine tracks, each credited to Beyonce and Jay-Z — or The Carters. The news began trickling out on Saturday afternoon with social media posts containing images from the “Everything Is Love” visual campaign. One image posted by Beyonce received nearly 200,000 likes in less than 20 minutes as many noted that, once again, Queen Bey had broken the internet. (Variety)
The couple have already put out the project’s first visual single “Ape Sh*t’ on TIDAL.
Queen Bey also hit up Instagram to share posts from the new project.
